Kinkead, Corie Lynn

Corie Lynn Kinkead, 31, of Belle Plaine, formerly of Cedar Rapids, died Wednesday, Feb. 15, 2012. Memorial services: 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 22, at Stewart Baxter Funeral & Memorial Services, Cedar Rapids, by Pastor Mike Andrews.

Survivors include her sons, Tyler Hubbard and Cristian Kinkead; mother, Teresa (Barrie) Fett-Oxley of Belle Plaine; father, Dave Kinkead of Marion; sister, Jamie (Mike) Armstrong of Newhall; brother, Todd Oxley of Cedar Rapids; grandparents, Wayne and Ruth Duede of Cedar Rapids; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.

Corie was born April 20, 1980, in Cedar Rapids.

She was a very loving mother, daughter, and sister, who enjoyed going to movies, restaurants, rock concerts, and the casino with her family. Corie was currently a student at Kirkwood and was focused on achieving her goals.

She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Marjorie Kinkead, George Kinkead and Paul Mefferd.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established.
