Hartkemeyer, Margaret V.
Margaret V. Hartkemeyer, 68, of Cedar Rapids, died Monday, May 23, 2011, at St. Luke's Hospital. Services: 10 a.m. Friday at King of Kings Lutheran Church by the Rev. Mark Halvorson. Interment: Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery. A visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday, with an Eagles service at 7 p.m., at Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home. Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home is entrusted with arrangements.
Survivors include her brother, Kenneth (Betty) Hartkemeyer of Norway; nephew, Michael Hartkemeyer of Norway; nieces, Kari (Jeff) Landuyt of Blairstown, Jamie Hansen of Phoenix, Ariz., and Amanda Hartkemeyer of Norway; four great-nephews; two great-nieces; two aunts; and one uncle.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and her twin sister and husband, Margery and Roger Fiebelkorn.
Margaret was born Sept. 22, 1942, in Cedar Rapids, to Ewald and Mildred Hartkemeyer. She was a member of the Eagles Auxiliary, REACT and the American Legion Auxiliary, Cedar Rapids. She was also a charter member of King of Kings Lutheran Church and choir. Margaret loved to bowl and watch sports.
