King, Charles E.
Charles E. King, 47, of Marion, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 10, 2009. Services: 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Cedar Rapids. The family will greet friends from 4:30 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
He is survived by his mother, Sue Shulgin and stepfather, Dan; his siblings, Gerry (Mike) Wallace of Martelle, Jim (Kim) King of Cedar Rapids and Christene (Lee) Thornton of Fort Lauderdale, Fla. He is also survived by extended family members and enjoyed a close relationship with his nephews and nieces.
Chuck was born Sept. 3, 1962, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. He worked for the Department of Corrections and most recently for the United States Post Office. Chuck was also attending nursing school. He enjoyed playing video games, reading, bowling, and was a Green Bay Packer fan.
Chuck will be greatly missed by all.
A memorial fund has been established in memory of Charles.
