Center Point-Urbana takes command in WaMac West by beating Marion: Girls BB Round up
The Gazette Allison Wooldridge scored 18 points to lead the Stormin’ Pointers over the Indians, 48-45, last night in Marion.

Allison's sister Arika chipped in 14 points for Center Point-Urbana, which won the battle for the top of the WaMaC West.
CPU is now a game up on Clear Creek Amana, Marion and Benton Community in the West.
Oliva Brecht and Sydney Boevers each chipped in seven points for Center Point Urbana, which puts a five-game winning streak on the line Tuesday when it hosts CCA.
Amanda Sahm led Marion with 16 points while Chloe Rice finished with 14 points.
Marion trailed by just one, 29-28, at the start of the fourth quarter.
The Indians were 10 of 14 at the foul line in the second half.
C.R. KENNEDY 68, C.R. JEFFERSON 34
- Sydney Hayden scored 16 and Stephanie Botkin added 15 for the 10th-ranked Cougars (10-4, 7-2 MVC) in a win at Jefferson.
The J-Hawks (5-8, 4-6 MVC) were led by Kennedy Dighton's 15 points.
EASTON VALLEY 81, CEDAR VALLEY CHRISTIAN 53
- Cedar Valley led 31-30 at the break but could not hold on in the second half in Preston. The Huskies were led by Molly Hembera with 17 points. An injury forced Shelby Hembera out of the game in the second quarter. Marie Cechota finished with six rebounds and five steals.
