Reints, Roger L.
Roger L. Reints, 74, of Marion, died Sunday, March 25, 2012. Memorial Services: 10 a.m. Monday at Noelridge Christian Church by the Rev. Stew Royce. Inurnment: Ackley, Iowa. The family will greet visitors at the church one hour before the service. Iowa Cremation is entrusted with arrangements.
Roger is survived by his children, Brett Reints of Florida, Kathy (Kenneth) Rieves of Waterloo, John (Helen) Reints of Mount Vernon, Wash., and Melladee (Eric Nichols) Reints of Eldora; sisters, Jo (Al) LeMar of Iowa Falls and Bazetta (John) Kew of Sheffield; 15 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.
Roger was preceded in death by his parents and a great-granddaughter.
Roger was born June 1, 1937, in Dumont, to John and Susie Reints. He was a self employed barber for 27 years and later worked for Center Point Schools, the Royal Fork Restaurant and Homz Management. He loved taking care of his flowers and shrubbery.
