Hardman, Thomas
Thomas Hardman, 70, of Cedar Rapids, died Sunday, Dec. 4, 2011, at Mercy Medical Center, Cedar Rapids, from a short illness. Memorial service will be at a later date. Arrangements with Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Cedar Rapids.
Survivors include three daughters, Penny (Dana) Teel, Cedar Rapids, Susan (Willie) Paz and Diana Wilson, both of Oakley, Calif.; seven grandchildren; a great-grandson; sisters, Bev, Peggy, Sharon, Mary, Susie, Sally, Rebecca and Robin; brothers, Richard, Harry, Billy and Ronnie; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, a nephew and a niece.
Tom was born May 13, 1941, the son of LeRoy and Beatrice (Gray) Hardman in Oelwein, Iowa. He enjoyed fishing and spending time with his grandchildren. Tom worked most of his life in construction and most recently was a security guard for PerMar.
