KARINE HATESA APINERU-EVANS

Karine Hatesa Apineru-Evans, 57, of Cedar Rapids, passed away on May 17, 2016, at St. Luke's Hospital. Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 26, from 4 to 7 p.m. at Cedar Memorial Park Chapel Stateroom. Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 27, at 10:30 a.m. at Cedar Memorial Park Chapel of Memories.
Karine was preceded in death by her parents.
Karine was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Left to cherish Karine's memory are her husband of 26 years, Shawn Evans; daughters, Karine, Jennifer and Irene; grandchildren, Amayah and Rapi; sisters, Te'afa'atasi, Susie and Selesitina; and brothers, James, Tauloa and Pouso'o.
A memorial fund has been established in Karine's name.
