Foley, Steven Raymond

Steven Raymond Foley, 56, of Cedar Rapids, passed away March 29, 2013, following a brief illness. Per his request, Steve will be cremated and there will be no funeral service or visitation.

Steve was born Oct. 4, 1956, in Cedar Rapids, the son of Raymond and Frances (Perrin) Foley. He graduated from Metro High School. Steve married Rhonda Thompson on July 3, 1997, also in Cedar Rapids and has worked for Evergreen Packaging since 1975 as a machinist.

Survivors include his wife, Rhonda; his mother, Frances; two sisters, Theresa (Chuck) Strain and Diana (Chuck) Langguth, both of Cedar Rapids. He was the stepfather of Nikki (Eric Martin) Harman of Burlington and Colin (Roseanna) Harman of Wichita, Kan. Also surviving are three grandchildren, Logan, Kayana and Brady; five nieces; one nephew; four great-nieces; five great-nephews; several stepin-laws, nieces-in-law and nephews-in-law.

Steve was preceded in death by his father and grandparents.

Steve enjoyed bowling, darts, auto racing and was a major St. Louis Rams football fan.

He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, son, uncle, brother and friend.
