Moore, Ida L.
Ida L. Moore, 76, of North Liberty, formerly of Cedar Rapids, died Friday, Nov. 15, 2013, at the Dennis and Donna Oldorf Hospice House of Mercy in Hiawatha. Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Monday at Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends may call at Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home from noon until service time Monday.
Survivors include a daughter, Rose (Sidney) Thomas of Iowa City; three sons, Troy Williams of Cedar Rapids and Dymin and Demorroe Harris, both of Denver, Colo.; a sister, Mary Elliott of Iowa City; and four grandchildren, Denelle, Justice, Aaliyah and Troy.
She was preceded in death by her husband; and a brother, George Henry Morgan.
Ida was born Aug. 20, 1937, in Camden, Ark., the daughter of John and Evalena Cannon Lewis. She married Ollie Moore on Sept. 18, 1964, in Camden. Ida was a cook at Heritage Nursing and Rehab, retiring from there after more than 32 years of service.
She enjoyed fishing, puzzles and especially the time spent with her beloved family.
Her memory will be cherished by all who knew and loved her.
Memorial donation may be given to Mercy Hospice.
