'Clean Line' developers get an earful at open house

Tim Fahy, who lives on Shooting Star Road near Anamosa, attended last week's public open house at the Lawrence Community Center in Anamosa. He said the presentation consisted mainly of stations with information boards and Clean Line staff present to "tell you why their project is such a great idea."
Fahy left skeptical of the project, but said it gave him a chance to explain that his property has wetlands, restored prairie and forest preserves. He learned that his property is just outside the Jones County portion of the Corridor.
"Hopefully, this disqualifies it," he said.
