Loes, Rob E.
Rob E. Loes, 48, of Cascade, died Sunday, Oct. 11, 2009 at Shady Rest Care Center, Cascade. Services: 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, St. Martin's Catholic Church, Cascade, with the Rev. Daniel Krapfl officiating. Burial: Calvary Cemetery, Cascade. Friends may call from 3 to 8 p.m. today at the Reiff Funeral Home, Cascade, with a 4 p.m. wake service.
He is survived by his mother, Nancy Loes of Cascade; one brother, Nic (Diane) Loes; and one sister, Lori Loes, all of Cascade; his grandmother, Virginia Knepper of Cascade; and two nieces, Megan and Ellie Loes of Cascade.
He was preceded in death by his father, Robert “Bob” Loes on April 13, 1985; his grandparents; aunts and uncles.
Rob was born April 21, 1961, in Monticello, Iowa, son of Robert “Bob” and Nancy (Knepper) Loes. He was a 1979 graduate of Cascade High School. Rob was employed at Martin Equipment in Dubuque.
Rob was a member of St. Matthias Parish and was very active in the parish. He was also a member of the CEW Community.
A Rob E. Loes memorial fund has been established.
