Newmire, Dorothy
Dorothy Newmire, 81, gracefully submitted to death Oct. 13, 2011, at the Iowa City Rehabilitation Center. She was cremated by Lensing Funeral and Cremation Service. A memorial Celebration of Life will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. Nov. 5 at Uptown Bills Coffee House, 730 S. Dubuque St. All are welcome.
She is survived by cousins, Mary Oxford of Iowa City and Delores Streyfler of Des Moines.
She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Leona Newmire; and her brother, Lewis.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Extend the Dream Foundation, same location
