Stoll, Dola A.

Dola A. Stoll, 91, of Cascade, died Sunday, Oct. 21, 2012, at 4:25 a.m. at Shady Rest Care Center in Cascade, surrounded by her family. Friends and relatives of Dola may call from 2 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 24, the Reiff Funeral Home in Cascade, where a CDA and Legion Auxiliary rosary will be held at 4:30 p.m. and a wake service will be held at 7:30 p.m. Services for Dola will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at St. Peter's Catholic Church in Temple Hill, Iowa, with the Rev. Douglas Loecke officiating. Burial will be held in Calvary Cemetery in Cascade.

On Feb. 14, 1944, Dola was united in marriage to Loras Stoll. He preceded her in death on Jan. 30, 1994.

She is survived by 12 children, Pat (Jeanne) Stoll of Reno, Nev., Jim (Kim) Stoll of Camanche, Ed (Margie) Stoll of Bernard, Tom (Evelyn) Stoll of Cascade, Jane Steger of Camanche, Lois (Dale) Andrews and Robert (Linda) Stoll of Cascade, John (Tamra) Stoll of Fitchburg, Wis., Julie Weiler of Dubuque, Alan Stoll of Cascade, Jeff Stoll of Dubuque and Ruth Jacque of Dyersville; 28 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; 1 stepgrandchild; four siblings, Carl Till and Helen Sheehey, both of Dubuque, Gene Till of Phoenix, Ariz. and Elaine Schnoor of Naples, Fla.; and two brothers, Andy and Louie Stoll, both of Anamosa.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Paul Till; four sisters, Irene Funke, Mary Lou Turner, Kay Peterchuck and Ruth Graham; a granddaughter, Rebecca L. Stoll; and a grandson, Josh Steger.
