Rundlett, Henrietta 'Retta'
Henrietta “Retta” Rundlett, 80, of Waterloo, passed away Saturday, Dec. 14, 2013, at Covenant Medical Center. Services: 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 21, at Westminster Presbyterian Church, with visitation one hour before the service. Burial: Memorial Park Cemetery. A luncheon at the church will follow the burial. Friends may also call from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday at Parrott & Wood Chapel of Memories, Waterloo.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family.

Henrietta was born Dec. 21, 1932, in Adair County, Iowa, daughter of Frank and Frankie (Palmer) Hager. She was united in marriage to Everett Rundlett on March 22, 1953, in Greenfield, Iowa. They farmed briefly before moving to Des Moines and finally made their home in Waterloo in 1960. Retta drove a semi-truck for many years, hauling gasoline or prestress concrete for Shirey's. She was a long time cancer survivor of 28 years and was a member of a cancer support group. In her spare time, she enjoyed baking and decorating cakes, gardening and quilting. She was a member of a quilting club, and TOPS. She was a caregiver for many.
She is survived by her husband, Everett; three sons, Robert Rundlett of Vinton, William (Deb) Rundlett of Vinton and Jeffory Rundlett of Waterloo; one daughter, Sue Andriano of Waterloo; five grandchildren, Jessica Rundlett of Des Moines, Josie (Matt) Beecher of College Park, Md., Dakota Rundlett of Vinton and Jason and Allyson Andriano of Waterloo; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
