Simmering, 'Marnie' Edna Mae
A celebration of life for “Marnie” Edna Mae Simmering, 88, of Washington, will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, March 2, at First Baptist Church in Washington, with Pastor Darryl Carr officiating. Her body has been cremated. Visitation will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday at the church. Marnie died Wednesday, Feb. 27, 2013, at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City.
