Frappier, Dorothy Mae 'Dot' Abel
Dorothy Mae “Dot” Abel Frappier, 89, of Robins, died Wednesday, Feb. 27, 2013, in her home following a long illness. Memorial Services will be held 2 p.m. Sunday at Faith Bible Church, 1800 46th St. NE, Cedar Rapids, by Pastor Bryan Regier. Burial: Rock Island National Cemetery. Teahen Funeral Home in Cedar Rapids is serving the family.
Survivors include four daughters, Judy Hogan of Huntsville, Ala., Donna Bell of Attica, N.Y., Dee Williams of Crete, Neb., and Joy Pannkuk of Robins; and a son, Mark Frappier of Columbia, S.C.
Dot was born May 1, 1923, in Terre Haute, Ind., the daughter of Lestia and Walter Abel. She married Raymond Earl Frappier on Dec. 14, 1941, in Bowling Green, Ohio. He died in 2012.
