World photos are interesting

When reading the first paragraph of a letter from Maureen Kern (”Images from Iowa much more interesting,” April 2), I was under the impression she was going to compliment you for the very interesting pictures from around the world (“Snapshots” on The Back Page). Instead, she called them boring. My feelings are just the opposite.
