Henry Lawrence "Hank" Johnson Jr., 92, of Strawberry Point, passed away Wednesday, Dec. 14, 2016, at the Edgewood Convalescent Home.
Left to cherish his memory are his 11 children, Ron Johnson of Atkins, Lois (Dave) Bockenstedt of Strawberry Point, Janaan (Steve) German of Lamont, Terry (Karol) Johnson of Manchester, Kathryn (Mark) Gerth of Indianapolis, Allan (Jeannie) Johnson of Strawberry Point, Stephen (John Duran) Baker of Tucson, Ariz., Karen (Gary Weyers) Hobert of Lime Springs, Duane Johnson of Strawberry Point, Kathy (Mitch) Rumple of Fargo, N.D., and Lori (Jerry Kessler) Pope of Garnavillo.

Mass of Christian Burial: 10:30 a.m. Monday, Dec. 19, at St. Mary Catholic Church in Strawberry Point, by the Rev. Paul R. Peters. Visitation: 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 18, at Leonard-Muller Funeral Home in Strawberry Point. Friends also may call one hour before Mass at the church on Monday. Interment with military rites: Mount Olivet Cemetery, Key West.
