Former MFL MarMac teacher pleads not guilty; Trial date set

A terminated vocal music teacher at MFL MarMac High School in Clayton County pleaded not guilty to state felony and misdemeanor charges today.
Richard Nance, 58, of Cresco, is charged with two counts of carrying weapons on school grounds, a class D felony, and one count of supplying alcohol to a person under age, a serious misdemeanor.
Nance's trial is scheduled for Aug. 25.
The News-Record in southeast Minnesota
reported that Richard Nance was a superintendent for the Mabel-Canton School District in the early 2000s.
