JACQUELYN "JACKIE" FREILINGER

Jacquelyn "Jackie" Jean Freilinger, 81, of Vinton, formerly of Central City, died at home Friday, Aug. 7, 2015. Funeral Mass: 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 12, at St. Stephen's Catholic Church, Central City. Visitation: 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 11, with a rosary service beginning at 7:30 p.m., all at the church. Burial: Mount Clark Cemetery, Central City.
Survivors include her husband, Keith M. Freilinger; children, David (Tammy) Freilinger of Apple Valley, Minn., Steven (Karen) Freilinger of North Buena Vista, Diane (Peter) Brecht of Central City, Jeffrey (Kelly) Freilinger of Swisher, Jean (Danny) Helmrich of Powell, Tenn., and Sarah Freilinger of Des Moines; 18 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Leslie Loveland and Gertrude Loveland Zobeck; and a son, Ron Freilinger.
Jackie was born in Waukon, Iowa, on June 1, 1934, the daughter of Leslie and Gertrude Loveland. She graduated from Waukon High School. On Aug. 22, 1953, she married the love of her life, Keith M. Freilinger, in Denver, Colo. They were married for nearly 62 years.
Jackie enjoyed time at their winter home in Mission, Texas. She also enjoyed daily walks on her farm and time with family.
She will be greatly missed.
