DONALD BOETTCHER
Lowden
Donald R. Boettcher, 87, of Lowden, died Jan. 14, 2015, in the Mechanicsville Nursing Home. Visitation:
4 to 7 p.m. Friday, Jan 16, at Chapman Funeral Home, Clarence. Burial will be at a later date.
Born June 14, 1927, in Wheatland, Iowa, the son of Henry and Emma Schlueter Boettcher, he married Lois Saunders on Feb. 19, 1950, in Lowden. She died July 21, 2006.
Survivors include three sons, Duane (Robin) of Mechanicsville, David (Vickie) of Lowden and Devon of Lowden; three daughters, Donna Shannon of Baldwin, Ill., Deanna (Byron) Miller of Clarence and Debra (Greg) Bentrott of Lowden; 12 grandchildren; six stepgrandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, son, Douglas; great-grandson, Blayne; brother, Leroy; and son-in-law, Albert Shannon.
