Wirkler, Vera E. Jarms
Vera E. Jarms Wirkler, 91, of Postville, died Thursday, Nov. 12, 2009, at the Good Samaritan Center, Postville, following a brief illness. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 17, at St. Paul Lutheran Church. The Rev. Steve Brackett will officiate. Burial will follow in Postville Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. Monday at the Good Samaritan Center and two hours before services at the church on Tuesday.
Survivors include two children, Richard Jarms, Gold Canyon, Ariz., and Sandra (Robert) Deering, Postville; daughter-in-law, Tracy Jarms, Cheney, Wash.; sister-in-law, Dorothy Williams, Oelwein; seven grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and eight great-great-grandchildren.
