One year has passed since that sad day,
When Shirley Shannon was called away.
God took her home. It was His will,
But in our hearts she lives still.
A wonderful mom, grandmother and wife she made.
A healing failed to happen, although we all prayed.
An amazing woman, so loyal and true,
One in a million, as God clearly knew.
Loved by her friends and all that she knew,
A wonderful angel, that, Shirley, is you.
