Chorlton, Tracy Ross
Tracy Ross Chorlton, 58, of Cedar Rapids, passed away Sunday, August 29, 2010, at Manor Care following a long illness. Services are pending. Cedar Memorial Westside Chapel is in charge of the arrangements.
Surviving is his sister, Connie Chorlton Henderson and husband Dwight of San Antonio, Texas; one niece, Patricia Ross Henderson of San Antonio, Texas; and several cousins, extended family and many devoted friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Tracy Ross Chorlton was born July 10, 1952, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, the son of Robert Brown and Lorraine (Marquardt) Chorlton. Tracy graduated from Cedar Rapids Kennedy High School, and later Kirkwood Community College with a degree in Graphic Arts. He was a very talented sign painter in both Florida and Cedar Rapids. He loved to paint, especially designs on race cars and boats. He also painted designs for a number of commercial businesses. He loved sailing and was passionate about listening to live music.
