Crumpton, Tracy James
Tracy James Crumpton, 50, of Anamosa, died Thursday, Nov. 14, 2013. Funeral Service: 11 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 19, at St. Mark's Lutheran Church in Marion by the Rev. Perry Fruhling. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday at Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Center in Marion.
Survivors include his wife, T.J.; two children, Samantha Crumpton and James Crumpton, both of Anamosa; and three brothers and sisters, Jon Crumpton (Alicia) of Phoenix, Ariz., Val Onken of Charles City, and Mick (Brenda) Crumpton of Manchester.He was preceded in death by his parents; grandparents; a brother, Brian; and brother-in-law, Keith.
Tracy was born Dec. 10, 1962, the son of James and Gloria (Holm) Crumpton, in Charles City. He graduated from Charles City High School and attended Wartburg College. Tracy married T.J. Chandler on Oct. 14, 1989, in Huntsville, Ala. Tracy worked at ESP International.
He was a member of St. Mark's Lutheran Church, Riverside Lutheran Bible Camp, Way Point for Children and Youth Encounter. Tracy enjoyed model airplanes, fantasy football, old Western movies, classic movies, and was a World War II buff.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Way Point and Riverside Lutheran Bible Camp.
