PAULETTE "POLLY" LOEFFERS
Vinton
Paulette Carol "Polly" Loeffers, 66, of Keokuk, formerly of Vinton and Marion, died Sunday, July 12, 2015, at Lexington Square Care Center in Keokuk following an extended illness. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Saturday, July 18, at Phillips Funeral Home Chapel, 212 E. Sixth St., Vinton, with Pastor Troy Weigert officiating. Interment will be at Evergreen Cemetery in Vinton. Friends may call at the funeral home from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday.
A memorial fund has been established.
Polly was born March 13, 1949, in Vinton to William Lee and Florence Marie (Tuttle) Loeffers Sr. and graduated from Washington High School in Vinton with the class of 1967. She attended Kirkwood Community College, where she earned her LPN license. Before her retirement, she enjoyed caring for patients in area nursing homes.
She is survived by her son, William Grant Loeffers of Cedar Rapids; her brother, William "Lynn" Lee Loeffers Jr. of Cedar Rapids; and her nieces, Jean Marie Loeffers Van Dee of Walford and Jennifer Marlene Loeffers-Meyer of Marion.
Polly was preceded in death by her parents.
