Clinton, Dennis D. 'Doc'
Dennis D. “Doc” Clinton, 56, of Cedar Rapids, died Saturday morning, Feb. 13, 2010, at the Dennis and Donna Oldorf Hospice House of Mercy, Hiawatha. Services: 1:30 p.m. Friday at Papich-Kuba Janeba Chapel West, 1604 J St. SW, by the Rev. Bill Nissen. Burial: Walker Cemetery, Walker. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday and after noon Friday at the funeral chapel.
Dennis is survived by his wife, Jackie; six children, Bridget (Tim) Vlahos, Jerry, Audrey, Gabby, John and Jordan Clinton, all of Cedar Rapids; four grandchildren; seven siblings, Fred (Kathy), Sharon (Ron), Sue (Mike), Chris (Kevin), Jamie, Priscilla (Rick), all of Cedar Rapids, and Rick (Cassie) of Georgia.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Dennis was born March 9, 1953, in Edgewood to Fred Sr. and Irene (Stephenson) Clinton and moved to Cedar Rapids with his family in 1954. He married Jacqueline M. Schneider on July 17, 1971, in Cedar Rapids. Doc enjoyed working on and repairing small engine motors.
