Dale E. Falt, 71, of Cedar Rapids, passed away on Tuesday, Feb. 13, 2018, at his home. Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to noon on Tuesday, Feb. 20, at Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home. The family requests to please share a fond memory or story of Dale at the visitation. A private family inurnment will be held at Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery.
Dale was born on Aug. 25, 1946, to Emil and Lillian Mingo Falt in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. He was a former owner of the Book Trader Store in Marion. Dale was a member of the Linn County Chapter of the Izaak Walton League of America. Dale was a Ford and Mustang enthusiast, even owning a 1970 351 Boss Mustang. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
He is survived by his sister, Jinnine (Jose) Villacrez of Monroe, Wis.; and many loving nieces and nephews.
Dale was preceded in death by his parents, and brother, Jack Brogan.
