RICHARD BOSS
Nevada, Mo.
Richard W. Boss of Nevada, Mo., went to his eternal home on May 23, 2015. Graveside services
will be at a later date in Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery, Cedar Rapids.
Survivors include his wife of 40 years, Lila; three sisters, Doris Werning and June Boss of Cedar Rapids and Lucile Pratt of Coggon; a sister-in-law, Doreen Boss of Kanata, Ontario; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Marvin; and sister, Alfreda Pederson.
Richard was born March 17, 1935, the son of Alfred and Helen (Linder) Boss. He graduated from Marion High School and then enlisted in the Army. After his service, he attended and graduated from the University of Iowa.
His life work was being a CFO at several hospitals in the Midwest. He was a very caring person.
