Fletcher, JoAnn Darlene

JoAnn Darlene Fletcher, 78, passed away July 19, 2013, at the Dennis and Donna Oldorf Hospice House of Mercy in Hiawatha, where she received compassionate care. Memorial Service: 11 a.m. Thursday, July 25, at First Lutheran Church, Cedar Rapids. Interment: Aug. 9 at St. Dunstan's Episcopal Church, Shoreline, Wash.

Survivors include three children, Kim (Greg) Martin of Fairfax, Curt (Karen) Fletcher of Seattle, Wash., and Jeff (Barb) Fletcher of California; eight grandchildren; and three sisters.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James; and eight siblings.

JoAnn was born July 10, 1935, in Yakima, Wash. She loved her family and friends beyond measure and lived life to the fullest. She moved to Iowa in April 2012 and was warmly embraced by all who met her and particularly enjoyed spending time with the Comfort Makers at First Lutheran Church.
