Burle Otto Bailey, 96, of Cedar Rapids, passed away Monday, March 26, 2018, at Mercy Medical Center after a short illness. No services are planned at this time.
Burle was born Dec. 31, 1921, in Ottumwa, Iowa, to Clarence and Mamie Bailey. He married Betty Bickford in 1947. They enjoyed 71 wonderful years together. Burle retired from Riderknecht Construction.
He had 50 years in El Kahir Shrine and served in the U.S. Navy during World
War II.
Burle is survived by his wife, Betty Bailey; three daughters, Joyce Netolicky, Patricia (Lewis) Peal and Barbara Bailey (friend Diane); two grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
