One in custody after Cedar Rapids chase
CEDAR RAPIDS - A man is in custody after a chase with Cedar Rapids police.
Just before 1 a.m. Tuesday, police started chasing a man in a car at Second Avenue and 26th Street Drive SE.
Officers eventually caught Chad Winders at 7100 Mount Vernon Rd. SE. Winders had an outstanding warrant and was not allowed to be driving, police said.
He now also faces several traffic violations.
