Quit trashing Gov. Reynolds

It seems that virtually all your editorials and most of the letters to the editor you publish trash Republicans in general and especially our Gov. Kim Reynolds. Let's compare her record to a couple of governors who must be your favorite since they have mostly kept their states shut down, specifically Gov. Andrew Cuomo of New York and Gov. Gretchen Whitmer of Michigan. My sources are Reuters, the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics and NPR.
COVID-19 deaths per 100,000 population: New York 168, Michigan 67, Iowa 34. Unemployment Rates: New York 15.9 percent, Michigan 8.7 percent, Iowa 6.6 percent. Estimated Budget Deficits for 2020: New York $14 Billion, Michigan $3 billion, Iowa is constitutionally required to balance the budget. To me we should be celebrating our local and national leadership. I'm proud to be an Iowan!
