Marble, White get World University Games tryout

Iowa assistant men's basketball coach Sherman Dillard tweeted the following Wednesday afternoon:
Congrats to our own Devyn Marble and Aaron White for being selected to try out for the 2013 USA Basketball World University Games. So cool!
Thanks Coach Dillard we're going to represent to the best of our ability
The World University Games are held every other year, with 27 sports contested. Men's basketball will feature teams from 24 nations. This year's competition is July 7-16 in Kazan, Russia. The USA Basketball training camp for the team will be July 24-July 1.
The U.S. coaches are Davidson's Bob McKillop, Michigan's John Beilein and South Carolina's Frank Martin.
The last Hawkeye to play for the U.S. at the World University Games was Greg Brunner in 2005.
Melvin Ejim of Iowa State, who grew up in Toronto, will vie for a spot on Canada's team in the event.
