Video 1 — Iowa DT Louis Trinca-Pasat talks about a young defense finding it's way.
Best stuff is when he talks, very briefly, about his sack celebration two weeks ago at Purdue. Check the audo post for that. This turned into a pretty fun discussion among his defensive mates.
Yes, they loved it. Yes, they know they can't do it again after the penalty for the same celebratory move likely cost Oregon the game against Arizona on Thursday.
Video 2 — Running game questions for running back Mark Weisman. That 3.5 yards per carry number is probably more important than whatever number ends up playing quarterback. 'We definitely need to get the running game going. It's a big thing for us. It will help open up the passing game.'
Video 3 — Iowa's defense is coming on. It's certainly not going to say it's arrived. DT Carl Davis gets this. 'Phil Parker won't let us do that.'
I also asked about the young defensive tackles. Someone asked on Twitter, I thought I'd go to someone who'd know.
And, yes, Davis loved the LTP celebration. He said he's done a few in practice that are pretty obnoxious.
Video 4 — CB Greg Mabin is a first-year player. No, the defense doesn't feel as though it's arrived. They are not getting cocky. 'That thought has never crossed our minds and coach [Phil] wouldn't let that thought cross our minds.'
And, yes, loved the LTP celebration. And, yes, he knows they can never do that again.
That kind of sucks, doesn't it? Hey guys, great play, now act like a mannequin.
