Two men are still on the loose after robbing a Cedar Rapids man Thursday night.
Police said one of the men had a gun and ordered the victim to get on the ground in the 200 block of Jacolyn Drive SW. Dustin Kelley, 31, told police the men stole his cell phone and flashlight around 9 p.m. before running away.
Kelley was not injured in the incident. The suspects were described as two black males in their 20s, both around 5-foot-8 and 120 pounds. Both were wearing zip-up hooded sweat shirts.
Police said Kelley had been over at a friend's place and was walking back home when he was robbed.
Although the description differs, the incident is similar to an armed robbery reported Monday night in Jacolyn Park, about four blocks away. In that incident, two men with a gun took the cell phones from two teenage girls.
Sgt. Cristy Hamblin said investigators were checking to see if the two incidents were related.
