Eva Charlotte Johnson, 91, formerly of Belle Plaine, died Saturday, March 22, 2014, at Rose
Haven Nursing Home in Marengo. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, March 26, at the First Lutheran Church in Belle Plaine by Pastor Dean Duncan. Burial will be in St. Paul's Lutheran Cemetery, Luzerne. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Hrabak Funeral Home in Belle Plaine and one hour before the service Wednesday at the church.
She is survived by sons, Charley (Kandy) Johnson of Belle Plaine and Darrel (Margaret) Johnson of Marengo; daughter, Elizabeth (Larry) Thompson of Luzerne; four grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter.
Eva was preceded in death by her husband, Donald F. Johnson in November 2006; her parents, Frederick and Eva Schroer Hartkemeyer; sister, Matilda Bauman; and brothers, Fred and Albert Hartkemeyer.
A memorial fund has been established.
