Lower speed limits make roads safer

To the editor:
To any or all so-called 'pro-life” lawmakers and religionists (who attack Planned Parenthood and common sense birth control). Are you actively and aggressively trying to 1. Get speed and red light enforcement cameras at every intersection and road, and even hidden? 2. Get mandatory speed governors on big rig trucks? 3. Get effective laws to stop texting and phone use while driving? 4. Set the speed limit back to 55 mph on interstates and expressways? The crash and fatality rates per miles on travel went up immediately and significantly on these select highways after every increase, but the heavy foot lawmakers only tell us about the 'statewide/total statistics” which declined some, which is a deceitful way to hide the fact that more speed kills. 5. Stop the cruelty that humans do to animals?
Most Republicans are pro-death on 1-5 above and the religionists are silent on all, making them 'friend of the world and of big money/big business.” I've quit religion for the above reasons. The first place human hatred of God shows up is in their actions. Why doesn't 'Thou shalt not kill” apply when on the accelerator? If you're not working for all the above, then don't tell me you're pro-life.
