Roth, Brenda Diane
Brenda Diane Roth, 55, of North Liberty, died Friday, June 17, 2011, at the Windmill Manor in Coralville, following a battle with cancer. A Celebration of her Life will be at 1 p.m. Thursday, June 23, at the Beatty Funeral Home, Washington, with Pastor James Cluney officiating. Her body has been cremated. Visitation will begin at noon Wednesday at the funeral home with family receiving friends from 6 to 8 p.m.
A general memorial in the name of Brenda Diana Roth has been established.
Brenda was born Dec. 14, 1955, in Fort Sill, Okla., the daughter of Duane E. Gray and Gladys Marie Malmberg. She graduated from Washington High School in 1973, and was united in marriage to Jay R. Roth on Jan. 8, 1983, in Washington. They later divorced.
She was office manager of Premier Automotive in North Liberty for the last eight years. She enjoyed gardening, flowers, reading, drawing, painting and dancing.
Survivors include her mother, Gladys and father, Kelly R. Allard; son, Adam J. Roth of Avon, Colo.; daughters, Shaena Roth of Iowa City, and Stacy Roth of North Liberty; sister, Susan Diane Henning of North Liberty; and granddaughter, Finnly Ava Blue.
She was preceded in death by her biological father; paternal grandparents, Willard and Delores Gray; and maternal grandparents, Edwin and Sadie Malmberg.
