Wagner, Marjorie R.
Marjorie R. Wagner, 97, of Cedar Rapids, died Friday, Sept. 6, 2013, at Cottage Grove Place.
Marjorie was born Dec. 6, 1915, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, the daughter of George and Mabel (Hoyland) Machen. She graduated from Washington High School in 1933. Marjorie married John H. Wagner on Jan. 14, 1939, at St. Matthew's Catholic Church.
Survivors include her sons, Larry (Dianne) Wagner of Danville, Calif., Jim (Nance) Wagner of Cedar Rapids, Rick (Peggy) of Cedar Rapids and John (Angie) of DeWitt. Also surviving are 20 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, and a brother, Fred.
Private services were held Tuesday, Sept. 10, at Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery.
