Pull our troops from the Middle East

To the editor:
It's time to pull our troops from the Middle Eastern conflict. There seems to be no point in our continued military action in this fiasco. The Middle East is not our domain. We are America. Let's make policy that represents the needs of our domestic issues: poverty, health care, veteran care and civil liberties.
It seems only a handful of interests are profiting from the Middle Eastern conflict. Rather than sending more troops to the conflict, let's concentrate our efforts in making policy that protects the liberties of our veterans. Suicide and a myriad associated PTSD symptoms plague our veterans. Do we want to neglect our veterans? Have we adequately and honestly addressed our Vietnam veterans? Has our government compensated the veterans and their families for Agent Orange exposure? PTSD?
Elect candidates who are willing to focus on domestic agendas. Elect candidates who propose domestic policies friendly to the American public. We start positive change by positive action. Do we want to sacrifice our young people to the Middle Eastern war machine? Of course not. Please elect representatives friendly to the American people. Pull our troops from the Middle Eastern quagmire.
