Undesired outcome not rule breaking

Regarding Gene Kopecky's April 26 guest column, 'Gaming panel failed its duty”:
Kopecky: Do you follow baseball? Your article defies all rules of baseball and all other sports. You ask for the gambling commission to change the rules, because you do not like its decision. So you go back to the 'rule book” and find an obscure rule that states that the commission is not doing its job, when in fact, the commission is doing its job. It is just not to your satisfaction.
I lived in Council Bluffs for 16 years before I came here, and, yes, gambling brought a lot of good to the community, but it also ruined a lot of people. Do we need that?
Let Steve Gray, Ron Corbett and Kopecky reach into their pockets and take all of their profits and turn it back into the (Cedar Rapids) community. Then our community truly will get their return for all the suffering, crime, gamblers anonymous and other family problems that gambling would cause.
