Betty L. Jones, 84, of Manchester, passed away Sunday, April 13, 2014, at St. Luke's Hospital, Cedar Rapids. Funeral Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 19, at the Hindt Funeral Home in LeRoy, Minn., with an additional visitation one hour before services. Visitation will be from 3 to 7 p.m. Friday, April 18, at the Bohnenkamp-Murdoch
Funeral Home and Cremations Services in Manchester. Burial will be in the Chester Hill Cemetery in LeRoy.
Betty was born Dec. 28, 1929, in Atlanta, Ga., the daughter of Truman and Isabel (Cabe) Wofford. On April 16, 1960, Betty was united in marriage to Roger Jones in Jonesboro, Ga.
Betty loved music, enjoyed playing her guitar and golfing. Her main
motivation was traveling to Oregon to visit her son, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Betty is survived by her husband, Roger; one son, Wayne (Robin) Jones of Portland, Ore.; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Betty was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters.
