Davis, Marvin R.
Marvin R. Davis, 84, of Ladora, died Thursday, Dec. 29, 2011, at St. Luke's Continuing Care in Cedar Rapids. A graveside service will be held 10 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 3, at Ohio Cemetery, rural Ladora.
Marvin is survived by his wife of 58 years, Kathryn Davis of Ladora; his daughter, Debra (Ron) McMann of Marengo; five grandchildren; two stepgrandchildren; two great-grandchildren; three stepgreat-grandchildren; his daughter-in-law, Janet Davis of Nixa, Mo.; his sister-in-law, Louise Davis of Marengo; and brother-in-law, Richard (Cindy) Shull of Arizona.
Marvin was preceded in death by his parents; his son, Dennis Davis; and his brothers, Lavern and Calvin Davis.
