Huston, Nancy E.
Nancy E. Huston, 67, formerly of Anamosa, died Friday, April 16, 2010, at Rush-Copley Medical Center in Aurora, Ill. Graveside service will be 2 p.m. Thursday, April 22, at Riverside Cemetery in Anamosa. Friends may call from 2 to 5 p.m. Wednesday at Goettsch Funeral Home in Anamosa.
Surviving are her husband, Dave; son, Denny (Kim) Kidd of Baldwin, Iowa; her stepmother, Alpheen of Somerset, Ky.; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; five sisters, Lynn Schuetze of Omaha, Neb., and Donna Gillispie, Rita Dick, Patty Foley and Jeanie Hardwick, all of Somerset, Ky.; seven nephews; four nieces; a special cousin, Jolene McGowan; special friend, Denise De Somers; and special babies, Cujo, Scruffey, Maggie, Jake, Bekka and Daisy.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Jeanie.
Nancy E. Huston was born April 3, 1943, in Somerset, Ky., the daughter of Carl and Pearl Hardwick Kidd. On May 12, 1982, Nancy and Dave Huston were united in marriage in Lowden, Iowa. Nancy was the vice president of Huston Home Improvement for over 25 years.
She enjoyed collecting bird houses, John Fogerty tapes and CDs and reading.
She will be missed dearly by those closest to her.
