Phil Axtell is one of three former Cedar Rapids RoughRiders on the Quad City Mallards' Central Hockey League team. Zac Pearson and Shane Lovdahl are the others.
Here's video of Phil fighting Jordan Lane from the Evansville Icemen in a game last weekend. Notice the uppercut he throws that would have knocked Lane on his can had Phil not been holding him up.
Awesome.
By the way, have heard Evansville might be one and done in the CHL. Word is it might join the USHL.
