Nebraska Santa faces child porn charges
NORTH PLATTE, Neb. (AP) - Investigators say they found a Santa suit at the North Platte home of a 57-year-old man who was arrested on suspicion of possessing child pornography.
According to North Platte television station KNOP, police say Daniel Davis dresses up as Santa Claus for the holidays.
Court records say Davis faces eight felony porn counts.
Sgt. Steve Reeves says still and video pornographic images found on Davis' computer appear to have been obtained from the Internet.
The Lincoln County Jail website says Davis remains in custody, pending bail of $50,000.
His attorney did not immediately return a phone call before business hours Friday morning.
