Becker, Kenneth 'Kenny'
Kenneth “Kenny” Becker, 75, died Wednesday, Dec. 25, 2013, surrounded by his family, at the Good Neighbor Home, Manchester, following an extended illness. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 28, at St. Luke's Catholic Church, Hopkinton, where friends may call from 3 until 8 p.m. Friday. Father John Kremer will officiate at the services. A parish Vigil service will be at 3 p.m. and a Knights of Columbus rosary will be at 8 p.m. Goettsch Funeral Home, Monticello, is in charge of the arrangements.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Dollars for Scholars.

Surviving are his wife, Catherine “Kay”; three children, Rick (Brenda) Becker and Ron (Kris) Becker, both of Manchester, and Machelle Becker, Waterloo; six grandchildren, Nick, Morgan, Rachel, Sienna, Blake Becker and Laveya Kerr; two brothers, Vernon Becker, Hopkinton, and Gilbert (Helen) Becker, Cedar Rapids; and four sisters, Therese (Vernon) Melchert, Hopkinton, Ethel (Kenneth) Hosch, Monticello, Janet (Raymond) Marbach, Manchester, and Virginia (William) Uhlenkamp, Central City.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Reynold and Erma Gudenkauf Becker; a sister-in-law, Mae Becker; an infant brother, Vincent; and an infant sister, Rita.
