Michael, Margaret J.
Margaret J. Michael, 94, of Independence, formerly of the Brandon area, died Sunday evening, Dec. 12, 2010, at the Buchanan County Long Term Care Center, Independence. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, Dec. 17, at St. John's Catholic Church, Independence. Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the Reiff Funeral Home & Crematory, Independence, where a rosary will be recited at 3 p.m. and a parish vigil service will be held at 7:30 p.m.
She is survived by three children, Jolene Groff of Fairfax, Karen Michael of Cedar Rapids, and Ronald Michael of Las Vegas, Nev.; 11 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Anna Mae Ward of Belle Plaine, and Alice McElliott of Manchester
