Jiroutek, Henrietta Hilda

Henrietta Hilda Jiroutek, 102, of Cedar Rapids, died Thursday, Dec. 13, 2012, at her home. Memorial gathering: 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 18, 2012, at Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Cedar Rapids. Inurnment: Czech National Cemetery, Cedar Rapids.

Survivors include her children, Olga (Ed) Fisher, Center Point, Irma (Lee) Mrazek, Cedar Rapids, Larry (Leah) Jiroutek, Fairmont, Minn., Velma (Larry) Kaufman, Toddville, and Robert (Jane) Jiroutek of Cedar Rapids; 11 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Amos; daughter, Linda; grandson, Jason; two brothers; and two sisters.

Henrietta was born Nov. 18, 1910, the daughter of Frank and Emma (Navratil) Vavricek, in Bertram Township, Linn County, Iowa. A lifelong resident of Linn County, she was united in marriage to Amos Jiroutek on June 5, 1935, at the Little Brown Church, Nashua, Iowa. He died in 1988. Henrietta was a homemaker.
